PLAIN clothes police officers arrested two suspected drug dealers and seized cash after one of the men led them straight to a drugs den.
The arrests came as officers hit streets around north Swindon in a bid to tackle drug dealing and speeding.
Acting Sergeant Ian Woodward said: "Today's actions show that we are determined to not only tackle the issues of drugs but also the unacceptable anti-social behaviour that come as a consequence of drugs within our communities."
Wiltshire Police said officers had found a group of men acting suspiciously in St Mark's Recreation Ground on Friday morning. When they were challenged by police officers two of the men ran off.
One was caught by in an alleyway nearby and, as the suspected drug dealer attempted to get away from a police officer, a member of the public called 999 - bringing back-up to the scene.
The second man ran to a house. Officers later found drugs and cash in the home.
The men, aged 17 and 27, have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intention to supply class B drugs.
In Pinehurst, plain clothes officers riding push bikes seized money and phones from a suspected street drug dealer. Another young man was given a street caution for possession of cannabis.
Speed checks were also carried out in Blunsdon and Chiseldon, where several vehicles were stopped and motorists spoken to about their driving and speed.
