Local Police hit the streets-Operation Peloton

With the warmer weather upon us, Operation Peloton has commenced in the Drayton Police Division. The operation is targeting property, good order and drug offences in the Darling Heights, Drayton Harristown and Westbrook areas.
As part of the Operation, police will be performing patrols on bicycles in addition to vehicle patrols around identified target areas, with a view to both detect and deter any illegal activity.
Use of the bikes also provides police with a great opportunity to connect with the community – be sure to say hi if you see the boys and girls in blue out and about in the Drayton Division.
