Cadets on bikes will enhance visibility, accessibility

The Winnipeg Police Service rolled out their new Auxiliary Force Cadet Bicycle Patrol on Friday.
The patrol currently consists of 16 cadets, but that number could expand. Patrol members received specialized training and will be visible city-wide.
The police hope the new patrol will make the cadets more visible and accessible in areas like bike paths, riverbanks and parks – areas not easily accessible by car.
