The Secretary of State for Security and Public Order supports the professionalization of agents through various trainings and courses with the aim of providing a better security service to citizens.
Underpinned by the San Juan Police Headquarters, the Cycling Police Division provides training for San Juan troops and hopes, next year, to do so at a national and international level.
In this sense, the head of the Division, SubCrio. Raúl Morales explained that “being a very new division, we are prepared to act in particular situations. The knowledge and experience we have in San Juan for mountain biking helps”.
The deputy commissioner pointed out that from the importance that the course took, they have received the request from Chile, Brazil and also from different Argentine provinces "to be able to come to San Juan and be participants, something that we are implementing for next year."
Morales indicated that there is an articulated work in terms of prevention with the rest of the divisions, although he explained that the advantage of the Cycling Division is to be able to reach places where it is not accessed by other vehicles.
In this regard, the deputy commissioner highlighted: “We emphasize proximity with the citizen and we train ourselves to provide responses to the entire society, also focused on tourism, that is why within the course, we provide knowledge in sign language, and languages”.
