Two Saskatoon police bicycles were stolen Saturday after they were left by officers unlocked outside a Broadway bar.
A spokesperson for the police said the bikes were stolen around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. The officers were performing a check-in at the bar when the bikes were taken.
The officers quickly recovered the bikes from Rotary Park where two men were arrested in relation to the incident. The men were charged with theft under $5,000 and are scheduled to appear in provincial court on June 19.
The spokesperson said police are now reviewing their practices following the thefts.
