Police bicycle unit coming

Saint Lucia Times, DECEMBER 11TH, 2015 

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has teamed up with Universal Cycle Centre to today launch  what is expected to become the island’s first ever Police Bicycle Unit.

The pilot project was launched today.

“It is a pilot project which will improve the patrol capabilities of the Police over foot patrols and regular transport, because now we have officers on bicycles,” Guy Larcher of Universal Cycle Centre told the Times.

Larcher disclosed that during the  three month pilot phase, needed adjustments would be made to the initiative.
