Police patrol officers in Ukrainian capital Kyiv are going to ride bycicles when on duty. The city administration has given the policemen 100 new bikes bought at the expense of sponsors.
During the launch ceremony, Kyiv patrol police chief Yuriy Zozulya said the officers are now working in city parks in testing mode. After a month of training conducted by Canadian instructors, the bike patrols will be out on Kyiv roads.
