Delhi Township Police Department Bike Officers Make Arrest/Theft From Autos

On 05/11/15 @ 1144PM, two Delhi Township Bike Officers, while on routine patrol, noticed a male subject standing by a driveway, on a phone. They also noticed another male subject, bent over, in a blue Chevrolet Malibu. While conducting their investigation, the male who was in the car kept reaching into his pockets, after being advised not to several times. The male then fled on foot from the officers. An officer gave chase and ultimately was able to detain him.

The male then said "sorry man, we were just breaking into cars". Inside the male's pockets, officers discovered a hypodermic needle, a metal spoon with an unknown residue on it, a flashlight, a glove and several items from cars on the street. The male, later identified as Jonathan Meadows, age 34, was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center and charged with receiving stolen property, drug abuse instruments, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempted theft, resisting arrest, and possession of criminal tools.

The male that was on the phone, later identified as Craig Holt, age 34, was also taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center on open warrants. The investigation into how much involvement the second male had in the thefts is still being looked at. If you live on or near Woodyhill Drive, and your vehicle was rummaged through last night, please call the Delhi Township Police Department at 513-922-0060, as we may have some of your property
