Delivering On-Site EMS Services Tailored for New Jersey Events

MedCycle, a cutting-edge emergency medical services (EMS) company, is changing the game in event and nontraditional EMS stand-by resources. Founded in 2015 by paramedic Christopher Polgar, MedCycle is dedicated to providing high-quality EMS services using a unique approach that leverages the speed and accessibility of bicycles.

A seasoned paramedic with over 15 years of experience, Christopher identified a gap in the traditional EMS response model. Drawing on his expertise and passion for cycling, he set out to create a more efficient and versatile emergency response solution. With a background in lifeguarding, EMT services, and EMS squad leadership, Christopher’s vision for MedCycle was born out of a desire to enhance public safety and improve response times in challenging environments.

Recognizing the potential of bicycles to navigate crowded event spaces and reach inaccessible locations, Christopher pursued advanced training in bicycle EMS through the International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA). Armed with this specialized knowledge, he developed a state-of-the-art bicycle EMS program that combines speed, agility, and expert medical care.

MedCycle’s fleet of Volcanic bicycles, manned by certified EMTs and paramedics, is equipped with cutting-edge field and EMS equipment to handle a wide range of emergency situations. Whether providing medical support at large-scale events, assisting in search and rescue operations, or responding to community emergencies, MedCycle’s team is ready to deliver prompt and professional care.

In addition to his role as the founder of MedCycle, Christopher is a certified American Heart Association CPR trainer, dedicated to promoting lifesaving skills within the community and among healthcare professionals. His commitment to excellence and innovation has positioned MedCycle as a leader in the evolving field of EMS services.

MedCycle EMS is a non-profit organization and has been rewarded the 501(c)(3) status.
