Course Location/Facility Name: The Thaden School

Address: 800 SE C Street Bentonville, AR 72712 US

Event Description:

Through lectures, skill practice, and isolation drills, the IPMBA e-Bike Training Module is designed to transition fundamental public safety cycling skills from conventional bicycles to e-Bikes.  It is intended for public safety cyclists who have already successfully completed the applicable IPMBA Public Safety Cycling Course.   E-Bikes are faster, heavier, and less maneuverable than conventional bicycles; therefore, public safety cyclists should first master the skills on a conventional bike and then complete this training module prior to being deployed on an e-Bike.  *Note: this training module is not for use with out-of-class electric vehicles (OCEVs) that exceed the maximum legal speed limit and/or wattage for e-Bikes.
